Betrayal, rejection almost as if human heart were not designed for such,
But light there always is searching out consuming the darkness in me,

Every syllable drenched in heavens grace reflecting thorn torn face,
Against all odds I have once again found hope in life, in love, in You,
Shattered dreams He can fix, hearts warped he can shape lovingly,
No incline to steep, no barrier halts His longing for one,
Peace and hope amidst battle field vulnerability His way to pay,
