Lately I have faced some strong opposition in the spirit from a number of sources but only a few days ago realised that they are merely agents of an environment of strong spiritual bondage and neglect that pervades the place that we together inhabit. I cannot share who and where in particular this has been taking place but if you know me in “real” life then feel free to ask. From some recent incidents that I have had I was carrying this black bile filled ball of anger and even hate towards the people I saw as perpetrating this crime and I use the word hate not lightly at all.

I was praying about this over the course of a week and God brought me some revelation that stunned me in it’s effectiveness to shift my focus and lift off these huge boulders of burden that I have been carrying around. God told me of His desire for me to pray for those who I had identified (unwittingly) as my enemies and to forgive them and intercede on their behalf with Him. And in a more physically apparent way to not just speak negative about people but to be aware of how God sees them and their work and allow His thoughts an earthly voice.

I love how counter-wise God’s ways are to this world. It took me to a place where I could choose to die to myself and release His healing in my heart, in this situation and hopefully (time will tell) for the other parties. The fight for what is right is not over by any means and I need to remember not to get careless but I need not fight fire with fire, I’m going to try to fight fire with water, a healing, soothing and dangerous to the way of this world torrent of Grace and mercy……Well at least I’m going to not get in the way of God doing so anyway ;) . I know I have talked in quite a cryptic way using symbolism but I thought this to be necessary to protect the parties involved (including me) and because it is quite a natural format for me to think and to receive revelation from the Lord in.

So I now am not only released to pastures new but have the opportunity to leave in such a way that mercy is the watchword that allows grace to freely flow.
