Façades

Liars we walk through our lives a façade to everyone,
Even we ourselves are fooled often enough,
To stop our ears hearing as our hearts cry bluff,
As we daily squirm unjustly proclaiming not fair,
Not listening not allowing another to even care,

We look at others longing to be just as good,
Lying in our false modesty with shoulder shrugs,
Shutting our nerves off to the ache inducing hugs,
Reaching out an emotional leprous hand in needing,
While pushing away transfusion for life force bleeding,

How much do I ignore the golden light that I AM,
So blinded by all in creation that lazily dazzles,
So burnt by heat all around that my heart frazzles,
Once more burnt out asking for validating truth,
I would hear from a nobody no matter how uncouth,

So tell me your secrets, come back to haunt me,
Making us Your singlets, filling us being our plea.
